These are the most popular type of boxes as they combine the sturdiness and rigidity of the corrugated boxes and the relative flexibility of the folding carton. It is available in different thickness and you cannot print directly on it like with folding cartons. You cover it with different wrappings upon which you do all the printing and branding.

Folding Cartons
They are flexible one walled box types. They are big on flexibility but are the least rigid compared to the other two we are considering. It is available in different thickness and most of them can be printed upon directly using different using techniques including impression, direct imaging, foiling and so on. Most of the design styles that are available with rigid boxes may also be created using folding boxes but there are some designs styles that can only be done using folding cartons.

Corrugated Boxes
Also known as brown cardboard boxes, they make up about 95% f secondary packaging and are usually used for transporting items over long distances and are mostly used for protecting items from damage over long distances. They are typically made up of a fluted or wavy layer sandwiched between two flat layers. There are different types and classes of corrugated boxes depending size of the wavy layer. You cannot print on most of them, but they can be covered with sticker papers where your printing and branding can be done.
